Multi-Temperature Solutions

Application Rules

  • FlexBins and bin content codes must be used together to enforce temperature zone segregation and handling restrictions.
  • The flushportbin function must be used to return bins immediately to the grid, minimizing the risk of frozen and chilled SKU degradation.
  • Operators are required to complete tasks as quickly as possible when working at ports outside the designated temperature zone.
  • When a bin is handled in a less suitable temperature zone (e.g., a frozen bin at a chilled port), total exposure time must be closely monitored.
  • Monitoring must include both robot handling time and time spent at the port.
  • Particular attention must be given to delays (e.g., robot waiting for port availability in a lower temperature zone), and actions should be taken to avoid product degradation.
