Balancing Categories

Categories do not influence the Bin preparation process. AutoStore prepares Bins based on req_time and priority.

The WMS must ensure that req_time and priority accurately reflect what will actually be picked. Assigning high priority to task groups in categories that are not actively used will negatively impact system performance. This is due to the limited space available on top of the grid for prepared Bins and the unnecessary consumption of system resources to prepare Bins that are not needed.
