Interface 2.7.0 Changes

NEW FEATURES

Full JSON Support:

• All API methods now accept and return JSON, simplifying integration and ensuring consistency across endpoints.

• You can now find a tab under every method with an example of it's JSON formatting.

  

Enhanced showpicktolight Method:

• Now supports updating both quantity and compartment, improving flexibility in Pick-To-Light workflows.

GENERAL IMPROVEMENT

Extended PTL Range:

• Supported quantities now range from 0 up to max integer value in Pick-To-Light.

Configuration Overrides:

• Environment variables can now override settings in appsettings.json configurations.

Developer Tools:

• Added new Postman collection with JSON data for all API calls.

BUG FIXES & QUALITY

Content Code Handling:

• Fixed an issue where a content code of 0 was incorrectly interpreted as a category in the getportstatus method.

KNOWN ISSUES

In Q4-2025 Green Train release, Interface V2.7.0 has three broken endpoints:

• flushportbin: all calls to the flush endpoints would always end in an error with the code 9999, indicating a DRIVER_TIMEOUT.
• flushport: all calls to the flush endpoints would always end in an error with the code 9999, indicating a DRIVER_TIMEOUT.
• showpicktolight: all calls to the showpicktolight endpoint would always end in an error with the code 9999, indicating a DRIVER_TIMEOUT.
